My favorite editor

UltraEdit has been my favorite editor for years. I use it for almost everything.

I use a number of programming languages and it works well for all of them. The syntax highlighter can be a bit of a challenge to set up, but once it's done it works every time.

Recent updates include the ability to run macros and Java scripts to automate repetitive tasks.

A feature that I really like is the project/workspace manager. It allows you to open, update and close groups of files at the same time. It really saves a lot of time on large projects with lots of files.
